Our SENIOR CLASSES expands on the training included in our JUNIOR CLASSES and introduces technique classes in Jazz, Tap, and Musical Theatre dance styles.
We also introduce our College Audition Workshop offered in the fall which will help students prepare their college audition package and film their audition.
OPEN SKILL CLASSES
The following classes are open to all skill levels regardless of experience as long as they are age 13-ADULT:
SR AUDITION SONGBOOK
1.5hr weekly class | M 6pm-7:30pm
Audition Songbook is essential for the Musical Theatre performer who wants to always be ready and confident for their next audition! Every performer will have the opportunity to build their Audition Songbook to ensure they have every style, genre, and niche of audition they could possibly need. Then, be able to continue to progress and perfect their audition repertoire every week getting unique coaching and feedback from professional staff and their peers. At the end of each session, students will have an opportunity to pick their favorite audition song and perform in front of invited guests and staff for feedback and an extra boost of confidence performing their material.

Improvisation, or improv, is a form of live theatre in which the plot, characters, and dialogue of a story are made up in the moment. While in our improv class, students will explore their creative minds and gain the confidence to embrace the fundamentals of improv. Students will sharpen their quick minds and develop knowledge of improvisation through improv exercises used in Second City, UCB (Upright Citizens Brigade), and even games from the popular improv show “Who’s Line Is It Anyway.”
SR ACTING SKILLS
1hr weekly class | W 5pm-6pm
Every performer needs the ability to tell a story. Acting Skills will give students the tools necessary to become a versatile actor and master the stage, screen, and captivate audiences. Through activities like scene work, character study, dialect coaching, and voice over training, performers will have the skills needed to make any character, song, dance, or scene, come to life!

MUSICAL THEATRE DANCE
1hr weekly class | W 6pm-7pm
The essence of musical theatre dance! Learn combinations from popular musicals (classic and contemporary) incorporating every style of dance in one class.
Dress code: Form fitting clothes. Shoes: Jazz, sneakers, character shoes a plus.
1hr weekly class | Level 1 TH 7pm-8pm
1hr weekly class | Level 2/3 W 7pm-8pm
Dancers will learn combinations and work on memorization skills, similar to a tap call for an audition. Our tap classes combine the use of rhythm & Broadway-style, fused to produce a well-rounded tapper.

1hr weekly class | Level 2/3 W 8pm-9pm
Dance technique & body alignment, body conditioning, stretch & strengthening, musicality, rhythm & stylization, fun & innovative choreography!

AUDITION ONLY CLASSES
The following classes are open to students aged at least 10-13 based on an audition for placement:
GRADES 6+ | 2hr weekly class | $80/MONTH | SAT 4pm-6pm
Our Performance Troupe is a group of trained young performers who have shown a commitment and love of performing, a team spirit, and willingness to learn and grow. Our Performance Troupe must participate in weekly classes and/or private lessons and have consistent attendance. This group will have numerous performance opportunities in and around the Ventura County including the Simi Valley Town Center Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, social media marketing campaigns with various industry-leading companies, as well as other showcases and fundraising efforts. Students must also be enrolled in a regular class or private lessons.
MUSICAL THEATRE COMPETITION
GRADES 6+ | 2hr weekly class + $690 Registration Fee | SAT 1:30pm- 3:30pm
Musical Theatre Competition class is admitted by audition only. This class is designed to prepare selected individuals who wish to join the studio at 2020 MTCA (Musical Theatre Competition of America) in Fullerton the weekend of February 7. The weekend consists of Group Performance Workshop/Adjudication, Solo/duet workshop/adjudication, a full day of specialized classes and training, and a final day at Disneyland including an awards ceremony. Tuition and registration fee is inclusive for the training leading up to the competition and the actual weekend, lodging, and admission to Disneyland.
