Where should my child start?

Most new students start with Musical Theatre Foundations because it gives them acting, singing, dance, and performance skills in one class. If your child has a specific interest, like voice, acting, or dance, we can help you choose the best fit.

What if my child has never performed before?

They are welcome here. Many BTPS students begin with little or no experience. Our classes are designed to help students build confidence, make friends, and grow at their own pace.

Can we try a class before enrolling?

Yes. New families can start with a free trial week so your child can experience the studio before committing to regular enrollment.

What ages do you teach?

We offer programs for young performers beginning around age 5 through teens, with select private lesson options available for kids, teens, and adults.

How do I know which level is right?

If you are unsure, book a free placement call. We will ask about your child’s age, experience, interests, and goals, then recommend the best class or pathway.

Can students join after the season has already started?

Yes, as long as there is space in the appropriate class. Some performance-based programs may have deadlines, but regular weekly training classes often allow mid-season enrollment.

What is the difference between classes and productions?

Classes are weekly training where students build skills in acting, singing, dance, and performance. Productions are rehearsed shows where students perform on stage. Many students do both.

Does my child have to audition?

Most regular classes do not require an audition. Some advanced programs, productions, and Competition Team opportunities may require placement, approval, or an audition.

What should my child wear or bring?

Students should wear comfortable clothes they can move in and closed-toe shoes or appropriate dance shoes when needed. A water bottle is always a good idea.

How does tuition work?
